Those little digs have since been inhabited by a number of other people after Lulu got married and the real Maxie disappeared from the show for a while. But luckily for us the feisty fashionista is back and so is the interior eye candy on the soap since her apartment got a moody little makeover upon her return. Yay!
Feast those eyes baby (and excuse the quality...these are screen shots):

Though Christmas has been over for a few weeks in our world, it is apparently still alive and well in the soap world. I guess some people do indeed take their time packing up the Xmas decor, but I suppose if I had a huge silver tinsel wreath like this beauty I'd keep it up a little longer as well.

And whoomp there it is folks! Yep I'm giving it to you right away. No need for the dramatic soap opera pause here. Straight to the point. The pimp of this post. The reason for the season...
That new, dark, blue glory wallpaper (which is so much better in HD).

Yes, it is lovely. Now for those of you who bothered to take a look see at my previous post on Maxie's apartment you may have noticed that a few accessories moved around here in the entryway.

Gone are the black trinket boxes and in are a few, um, candles? Vases? Something like that.
Meanwhile the silver coated tree trunks stayed in the exact same spot. I'm assuming those haven't been used as extra seating in a very long time.

There's also been some additions in the form of a new blue lamp and some wall horns which everyone seems to love these days. While the black bamboo framed mirror stuck around to enjoy the company of some fun bookshelf accessories in the form of a mini ferris wheel, what looks to be a light blue fu / foo dog statue, a turquoise vase, and a faux hand (which can both be seen in the photos below).

Yeah, love on that view of the wallpaper for a bit.

Now let's focus on that ottoman, or what used to be one long ottoman which has now morphed into two smaller ones.

I still like it though.

There used to be lots and lots of decorative pillows on this couch and the smaller chair, but between the drunken relations that were happening in this episode, and the obvious mess that would result in such drunken relations, I can't tell if the pillows have been replaced or were simply tossed aside during the action as tends to happen to throw pillows.

...Yeah, I might've gotten a little off base there. Let's just get back to those bookshelf accessories shall we?

Yep, he's still drunk, but again...those accessories.

P.S., I still adore those dining chairs. Heck, I even adore that Charlie Brown-ish tabletop Christmas tree back there. It's a bit slim looking but it still has some pizazz.
And while we're on this side of the room have a look at that silver branch lamp in the corner. See? Over there on the bar cart...It used to live on the entry table.
And the red Buddha head...it has a matching mini that I think is blue though it got cut out of this shot.

And as we prepare to depart the revamped apartment of General Hospital's Maxie, let us bid them a jolly farewell while we swoon over that totally futuristic wall sculpture which replaced a black mirror, and that turquoise tree trio of the Christmas season that just won't seem to go away in Port Charles.
Toodles, Maxi. If you ever decide to get rid of that roommate who is dating the man that you are still in love with, I'll totally move in and share the rent payments with you.

Note: I have received numerous inquiries about sources for the specific products used in GH's set design for Maxie's apartment. While I have put together a list of products similar in color/design, I unfortunately have been unable to locate the exact items seen in the pics. Sorry folks.

Happy New Year!
Decorating ideas galore for sure!!!
I am desperately trying to find this wallpaper...any ideas where to find it? I emailed abc.com and haven't received a response as of yet. I also posted a comment on GH's facebook page and another member started giving me a hard time about posting a question like that on a fan site, ugh. If anyone has any info that would be GREAT! Thanks!
While I do not have a source for the exact wallpaper used in the GH set design, I did put together a list of wallpapers in similar hues here.
Thank you for your response! :)
Anyone know where I can get that ottoman ? Or ottoman fabric?? Thanks!!!!
I've looked and have thus far been unable to locate that fabric. If I do I'll definitely update.
Do you know where to purchase the couch?
Sorry, I don't have a source for the sofa used in GH's set design.
